Makena State Park at Maui's southern end has two scenic golden sand beaches, known as Big Beach and Little Beach. Big Beach is Maui's longest beach and is a favorite spot for experienced bodyboarders and bodysurfers. Little beach is a small cove with gentler ocean conditions and is good for novice bodysurfers. No life guards are on duty and their are no public restroooms or showers. Little Beach is a poplular "unofficial" nude beach, although public nudity is prohibited by law. Add to my picks!

Ride a bike from the summit of Haleakala to the sea. You get picked up early from your condo or hotel, so you can reach the summit by sunrise. Dress warmly as the temperatures can be in the 30s to upper 40s. The bikes used have wide seats with heavy duty brakes, and during the ride the group of usually 12-13 cyclists is followed by a van. Another Fun Factory Arcade is located at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, 275 West Ka'ahumanu Avenue, Kahului. The one at the Maui Mall seems to attract a bit younger of a crowd than its sister location at Ka'ahumanu. A lot of the customers are under parental supervision, making for a much more pleasant atmosphere. The games reflect the age of the customers.
