 Martha and Jim Collins first came to Maui 15 years ago when Jim won a free trip in a sales contest. Like so many others, the Collins fell in love with Maui. Martha and Jim now spend a month on Maui each winter and consider themselves “off island locals” who love and respect Maui’s unique culture and natural beauty. Jim and Martha like to spend their time golfing, snorkeling, and dining out in the many fine restaurants found on Maui. Wailea has 3 marvelous golf courses to choose from. The Emerald and Gold courses are newer, the Emerald course being the most popular. The Gold course has been listed as one of the top courses in Hawaii. The Blue course is older than the other 2 and tamer. An award-winning restaurant at the Milowai Condo with a great view of the harbor. They prepare several different kinds of fish nine different ways - Cajun spiced, broiled with Hawaiian salsa, baked in parchment paper, stuffed with Alaskan king crab, etc. Open for lunch 10am-1:30pm and for dinner 5pm.
